SDG 3: Legal Guide to the SDGs

Good health is central to human happiness and well-being. Health is also instrumental to poverty reduction because healthy populations live longer and are more productive. The law is a powerful tool for implementing SDG 3 and advancing global health. Laws are essential to design or improve a health coverage scheme that is truly universal. Yet, the role of the law and lawyers in advancing good health and well-being is still underestimated or poorly understood. This Legal Guide to SDG 3 will assist legal professionals in understanding their role and key actions they can take to advance SDG 3.

It is our intention to keep the Chapters as up to date as possible. Please help us to do so by providing feedback or new information which to include in them. Contact us at [email protected]
